This course will cover the important roles amphibians play in our lives. It will highlight North America's giant salamander, the Eastern Hellbender, and conservation approaches currently underway to save this endangered salamander. The course will also focus on how amphibians can be used to teach about nature and conservation. The class will end with an interactive session focused on water quality and Hellbender conservation.
