Everybody knows about Luckenbach and Enchanted Rock, but the Texas Hill Country is full of unique and unusual places that are unknown to the average traveler. This road trip along the highways and dusty backroads of Gillespie and surrounding counties will visit forgotten places with fascinating stories overlooked by other guided tours and history books.

Instructor Michael Barr writes a local history column, called Hindsights, for the Fredericksburg Standard. He is a regular contributor to Rock and Vine Magazine.
