Alfred Hitchcock's “The Lady Vanishes” (1938) is considered one of the greatest films of his British Years (1925-1939). It is a mystery wrapped inside its own mystery. An elderly woman vanishes from a train while a rich young playgirl attempts to find her. A thriller full of intrigue you will not soon forget. Featuring Margaret Lockwood, Michael Redgrave and Dame May Whitty, this is early Hitchcock at his finest.
