This is a non-theological look at three stories from the Old Testament. Participants will be led through the stories of Creation, Samson and Delilah, and Esther, looking at literary aspects such as plot, setting, characters, themes, problem/solution, authorship and motivation. Participation by class members will be an essential ingredient for learning in this discussion class.

Charlotte Freeborn was born in Dallas and grew up in Longview, Texas and Albuquerque, New Mexico. She attended Hill College in Hillsboro, Texas and received her bachelor’s degree from the University of North Texas and a master’s from Perkins at SMU.
