Instructor Heather Coats is a Lubbock native and master’s graduate of Texas Tech University. Heather studied chemistry and adult education, and now is the training and outreach manager in Environmental Health and Safety at Texas Tech. She is a passionate educator in the safety world and is known throughout the higher education safety community as a trailblazer in training curricula and connecting with audiences.
