This guided tasting will explore the wines of the Texas High Plains AVA and the regions of Stellenbosch and Elgin in South Africa. We will discuss the geography and climate that make these regions unique, and the winemaking practices that contribute to the individual expression of each wine. A short talk on rhinoceros conservation will follow a tasting of five wines.
