Anthropologists have identified six cultural values systems that exist in all cultures used to anticipate how people in different cultures might prefer different outcomes when interacting. This class will define who are members of the Hispanic and U.S. mainstream in American society, and compare their value differences. The class will also cover cross-cultural communication skills, which will be critical to master as the Hispanic population becomes our state’s majority.
