Whether or not you keep a journal, you will love the approach Lorraine Wilson brings to this activity that can be calming, useful, meditative, motivational and beautiful, all at the same time. Working with some simple blank notebooks you’ll receive in class, begin your journey of record and watch it become a thing of beauty and lively expression.

Lorraine Wilson

Lorraine Wilson, president of the Parkinson’s Community of Abilene, was a longtime educator (Abilene ISD, ACU). She was recognized in 2025 as one of 125 Remarkable Women, a nation-wide undertaking by Nexstar Media to honor the contributions women are making in their community. Lorraine is an Ambassador for the Davis Phinney Foundation for Parkinson’s.
