The presentation will cover a brief discussion on the history and geopolitical role the International Space Station played in the end of the Cold War. Included will be details on the benefits for humanity that have been provided by the orbiting platform over the last 24 years as well as ongoing research that holds promise for future discovery and impacts to everyday life on Earth.
