With 14 films together, John Ford and John Wayne may be the most famous director-actor duo in American film history, from 1939's "Stagecoach" to 1963's "Donovan's Reef." Other films discussed are "She Wore a Yellow Ribbon," "The Quiet Man," "The Searchers," and "The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance." Although each made over 100 films, it's arguably these that defined their respective careers. Besides their working relationship, we'll review their politics, military history and how they helped shape American culture at large.
Fee: $15.00
