Focusing on the granddaughter of Fredericksburg's founder, John O. Meusebach, discover how Leonie’s degree as one of the first female dentists in America in 1902 led her to the Army, the Navy, the wilds of Alaska and more. Taken from her own words found in her journal, you will learn how her life of service through dentistry showcased her adventures as well as her connection to dog sledding and the Civil Conservation Corps. Leonie’s accomplishments are a story that has remained in the background but should be known by all.
