Noah Smithwick was a frontiersman, blacksmith and ranger who played a part in the saga of early Texas, eventually settling in Burnet County. Smithwick wrote a colorful autobiography which will provide a first-hand account of his adventures. In this presentation, local history buff Charles Watkins portrays Smithwick and tells his story.

Charles Watkins

Charles E Watkins, Ph.D., graduated from the University of Texas and spent most of his career in technical marketing of computing systems. He portrayed Noah Smithwick in the annual Legends of the Falls hayride in Cottonwood Shores.
