The geology of the Texas Hill Country makes it a great place to hunt artifacts and fossils. This presentation will include advice on looking for fossils and prehistoric artifacts in Central Texas, including how to collect legally, ways to properly excavate and how to document significant finds. The speaker will also discuss his discoveries including that of a 700-year- old bison skeleton close to his home.
