This major exhibition of Texas artists' work from the 20th Century reveals much about Texas' people, unmistakable landscape and the Great Depression, told through painting and photography. Judy Deaton, chief curator, will join us in the main gallery to visit about the art of William Lester, a member of the Dallas Nine who helped define Texas Regionalism. In adjacent galleries members will see the powerful photographic images that documented American life in the heartland for the Farm Security Administration.
