I can't remember a name for 5 minutes. Is that a problem? As we age, nearly everyone wonders about memory loss. Is it dementia? In this session you'll learn the differences between dementias, their diagnoses and treatments as well as healthy brain habits.

Samuel Brinkman

Dr. Samuel Brinkman completed his Ph.D. in neuropsychology from the University of Houston in 1980. He was co-director of a geriatric research center at Wayne State University, where he was involved in development of medication treatments for Alzheimer’s disease. He now lives in Abilene, where he has provided neuropsychological services to patients with a wide range of neurological disorders. He has published over 40 research papers, book chapters and scholarly works.
