By the turn of the 20th century, Lubbock County was dotted with small communities. Today, perhaps only a name is reminiscent of a place where people once worked and lived. Sometimes relics remain of a past community; often only memories exist. This program will explore the history of some of Lubbock County's "ghost towns."
Sandy Fortenberry grew up in a small town in Lubbock County. She currently serves as chairperson of the Lubbock County Historical Commission.
