In this talk, Battling Aging with Resistance Training, we'll explore how the body changes as we age and why those changes can impact daily life, health, and independence. We'll look at the science behind aging, focusing on the decline of muscle mass, bone density, and metabolic function, and the critical role resistance training plays in slowing these effects. With a combination of physiology insights and practical advice, you'll learn how regular resistance exercise can help maintain strength, vitality, and quality of life at any age.
