The class will explore the life of Lubbock photographer Winston Reeves from his time as a student at Texas Tech through his career as a professional studio photographer. Reeves established his studio in 1938, served as an Army flight instructor at Breedlove Field during WWII and documented various aspects of everyday life on the South Plains until his passing in 1965. His wife, Annie Letha Reeves, was his partner in the business and kept it going for more than three decades after his passing.
