Starting with one variety of cheese in 2000 and now offering 20 varieties of cave-aged artisan raw milk cheeses, four generations of the Veldhuizen family are involved in the business’s daily operation today. OLLI visitors will learn about the farmstead concept of using only milk from the farm’s own cows and flock of sheep that grace the farm’s pastures. Veldhuizen is approximately 100 miles from Abilene.
