Alzheimer's Association This class is being presented by one of the Alzheimer’s Association’s Virtual Community Educators. These volunteers are highly trained public speakers who provide Alzheimer’s Association education programs through virtual platforms to community audiences.
James Klein James Klein, Ph.D., is a retired music professor and professional conductor who has over 40 years’ experience in orchestra and opera performances.
David Kroese David Kroese left a 25-year career in the corporate world to pursue his personal interests, becoming one of about 50 people known to have visited all 423 National Park Service units. David wrote of his experiences in The Centennial: A Journey through America’s National Park System, and is currently working on his next book, Hidden Gems of America’s National Park System.
Mark McCary Mark E. McCary is an attorney at the general practice law firm McCary & McCary, P.C. He served an extended period in active and reserve roles as a U.S. Air Force officer. He was recalled post 9/11 and further employed by the U.S. government on national security issues.
Kermit Poling Kermit Poling, Music Director for the Marshall Symphony Orchestra, is a worldrenown musician who has conducted and performed throughout the world and has recorded with orchestras such as the London Symphony Orchestra.
Misha Price Misha Price is the OLLI coordinator in Abilene. She has a bachelor’s in human services with a specialization in child and family welfare and is currently working on her master’s in marriage and family therapy.
Alexander Salter Alexander William Salter, Ph.D., is the Georgie G. Snyder Associate Professor of Economics in the Rawls College of Business at Texas Tech University. He is also the Comparative Economics Research Fellow at TTU’s Free Market Institute. Salter has published more than 70 scholarly and 200 popular articles.
George Studor George Studor has retired from the USAF and NASA as a C130 pilot and Spaceflight Systems Engineer respectively. He has a BS and MS in Astronautical Engineering from the USAF Academy and Air Force Institute of Technology.
