Accurate or not, the Hollywood image of Texas is long established, mainly through Westerns. The younger generation of Texas filmmakers is now mature. Robert Rodriguez, Richard Linklater and Wes Anderson have taken their place in the forefront of movie storytelling. They often shoot in the state and bring an authenticity to their subjects and characters that can only be conveyed by someone who has lived here. Join Zachary Ingle as he takes us through the work of his favorite Lone Star directors.
