Join us on a tour of the nation’s first full-scale operational oil rig on a university campus at Texas Tech’s Oilfield Technology Center. Students gain hands-on experience in the oil field with real-world drilling equipment. After the tour, head into the onsite classroom for a presentation on petroleum engineering and how Texas Tech's Roughneck Bootcamp and Watson’s work trained actors for Paramount+ "Landman" series. Marshall Watson holds a bachelor's from Cornell and both a master's and a doctoral degree in petroleum engineering from Texas Tech. The chair of TTU Petroleum Engineering Department, Watson is an award-winning professor, a professional engineer, a patented inventor, and an author.
