Social media can be a powerful tool for volunteer-driven organizations—but it can also be quicksand. This class explores how to use major platforms effectively while avoiding the controversies, conflicts and misunderstandings that can trap well-intentioned volunteers. Learn practical strategies for posting responsibly, managing comments, setting boundaries and maintaining a positive, mission-focused online presence. Participants will have an opportunity to participate in a fall class that will be a site tour.
