In October, the United States Navy marked its 250th year—an extraordinary milestone in American history. The course will explore the Navy’s origins in the American Revolution, its mission through two and a half centuries of conflict and innovation and its role in shaping national security and global affairs today. We’ll examine the conflicts, notable leaders, advancements and enduring traditions that make it what it is. Join us for an engaging look at how the U.S. Navy has protected the nation’s interests across the seas.
